- Email address - required to create a membership and send you the newsletter and your free books.
- First name - used to personalise emails. Optional in practice.
- Purchase data - if you buy a product via Lemon Squeezy, your email address and purchased product details are stored to manage your entitlements.
- Consent record - the date and time you agreed to this privacy policy when signing up.
We do not collect your address, phone number, payment card details, or any sensitive personal data. Payment processing is handled entirely by Lemon Squeezy, who act as merchant of record.

We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it for any purpose beyond running this site and the membership.

Cookies
If you sign in to The Hidden Chapter membership, a session cookie is set to keep you logged in. This is strictly functional and is not used for tracking or advertising. Google Analytics sets its own cookies to measure aggregate, anonymised site traffic. You can disable analytics cookies in your browser at any time.
How long we keep your data
Your email address and membership data are kept for as long as you remain a member. If you unsubscribe from the newsletter, your email is removed from the mailing list. To request full deletion of your account and associated data, contact adam@adamecclesbooks.com.
Your rights
Under GDPR and UK data protection law, you have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you.
